Social Responsibility
Employees & Communities
Our facilities are located in rural agricultural communities, with a combined total population of fewer than 5,000 people. Our employees generally live within a 50-mile radius of the plants, with most all of our employees residing in small rural communities. REX supports employees and the communities through direct and indirect support. We participate in local Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter auctions, food banks and other local charities and county fairs.
Many employees serve on local councils and volunteer for church groups, food pantries and other community organizations.
Facilities perform emergency response drills with local and regional first responders to provide them with building locations, plant layouts, and access in the event of an emergency. REX provides competitive wages with benefits and all full-time employees are eligible for monthly and annual bonuses.
